Come and meet Auntie Noma for an exciting storytelling session. Award-wining presenter and author Noma Sodipo’s launches her new book A Pre-school Alphabet Book & A Treasury of African Names. Don’t miss out on this brilliant opportunity to learn the alphabet… sonically! Noma uses storytelling to blend rich traditional and modern African scenes together. Children will also get the unique chance to learn about the origins and meanings that lay behind many African names and proverbs.
Noma Sodipo has worked with children for more than two decades. In 2005 she launched her TV show ‘Story Time with Auntie Noma’, for which she won the Global Women's Inventors and Innovators Network (GWIIN) award in 2012 in Ghana. She has also run storytelling events with the British Council and represented her country in Connected-Women.com.
