History of the course
The course has been designed by Decolonising the Archive (DTA's) Dr. Etienne Joseph and offers a team of experts in the field contributing to the module. Correcting our Collecting is a short, accessible, and practical course in African heritage archiving. It is designed to introduce participants to the basic principles, skills and ideas required to approach the creation, preservation and activation of archives from an African heritage perspective. The course is necessary as the overwhelming majority of teaching and material concerning archival practice centre European perspectives on information studies. The course in now taking enrolment for the Winter term Register here to be apart of a unique approach to Museum and heritage culture in the U.K.
