JACKY WRIGHT

Jacqueline (Jacky) Wright was born and raised in Tottenham, North London into a Jamaican family with both parents and two brothers and a sister. In her teenage years her father, who was in the RAF, moved her family to America so much of her career has been spent in various US States.
The importance of education was impressed upon Jacky from a young age and so once she was settled in America she attended Zicklin School at City University of New York where she majored in computer science and minored in accounting.
During her career, Jacky has held the position of Chief Information officer at General Electric, Vice President and Chief Information Officer at BP and Chief Digital and Information Officer at HMRC.
She sits on the Board of Directors for nVent, Exelixis,Inc., and Russell Reynolds Associates, on the Advisory Boards for Institute of Coding and Zicklin School of Business, and as a member of the Sovereign Grant Audit & Risk Assurance Committee. Previous board leadership has included Prostate Cancer UK, City University London.
Jacky, who is a mother and grandmother, was named number one on the 2022 Powerlist, making her the most influential Black person in Britain, and is currently Corporate VP and Chief Digital Officer for Microsoft.
