Black Lens Film Festival 2021

Black Lens Film Festival (BLFF2021) is a four-day event celebrating the best in Black British film throughout the decades. The festival is in partnership with programme partner and curator www.alt-africa.com.

BLFF2021 is an online and in-person hybrid event commemorating 40 years since BCA’s inception and the Brixton Uprisings. The festival will celebrate new Black film-making talent and will include screenings, showcases, shorts, panels, and family fun.

The festival is supported by the BFI and Netflix and will take place at cinemas across London. Cinema partners include Catford Mews and Genesis Cinema.
