A Day of GCSE History CPD

Attention Teachers! Join Royal Holloway, University of London and Black Cultural Archives for a CPD training opportunity focusing on the Brixton Uprisings.

We'll explore ways to teach history GCSE from a wider range of perspectives, with a focus on traditionally marginalised voices. We’ll share and test new resources developed for AQA Britain: Power and the People, which is also relevant to Migration specs. Included is a Q&A session with AQA.

Hosted by historians from Black Cultural Archives, The London Archives and Royal Holloway, University of London. A full lunch will be provided.

This event is brought to you by Royal Holloway, University of London's Inclusive Histories project, in collaboration with Black Cultural Archives, The London Archives, and AQA.
