Carnival Paper Garment-Making workshop

Join multi-disciplinary artist, Favour Jonathan, for a Carnival-themed design and writing workshop, inspired by Claudia Jones.

This workshop will include making paper garments for dancing at Carnival, and writing exercises where we explore what culture means to us and our favourite memories.

By choosing words that represent you, your passions or interests, we will experiment with how best to bring this to life with found materials. At the end of the workshop you’ll have produced some colourful garments made out of paper-like collages.

Times:

2pm – 3.30pm

Suitable for all ages
