Join us this February half term for a nourishing, building-wide afternoon exploring African and Caribbean approaches to health and wellbeing, curated by Black Cultural Archives’ Youth Programme.

Expect an engaging, community health and wellbeing afternoon:

  • Learn your blood type with the NHS 

  • Watch a short film about Sickle Cell Disease and hear from panellists raising awareness about Sickle Cell Disease today 

  • Celebrate traditional herbal remedies with Earth Tenders and enjoy a delicious plant-based lunch with Garden of Afruika 

There’s something for everyone!

Event schedule: 

  • 1:00 - 2:00 PM: Plant-based lunch catered by Garden of Afruika 

  • 2:30 - 3:30 PM: Guided meditation and mental healing session 

  • 3:00 - 4:00 PM: Panel discussion on Sickle Cell Disease and the importance of donating blood 

  • 4:00 - 5:00 PM: Workshop on herbal remedies with Earth Tenders
