We are proud to present The Forgotten Generations, a special exhibition created by local Black RAF veteran Donald Campbell to honour and record the often-overlooked experiences of Black people living in the UK.
Through powerful displays and personal testimonies, it traces the experiences of veterans across the decades who faced and challenged prejudice while bravely serving their country.
Most recently shown at Birmingham City Library and at RAF sites across the UK, The Forgotten Generations features portraits by renowned photographer Vanley Burke and highlights both the historical and ongoing contributions of Black individuals in the Armed Forces.
