Radiating Greatness Stories of Black Leadership Part 1

£15.00

By Franklyn Rogers

Though there are accomplished Black Britons leading some of the UK’s most important institutions, they are often hidden from the mainstream gaze. In this unique exhibition, we discover five amazing Black women whose resilience, drive and excellence has led them to the highest positions in their respective fields. The exhibition captures their challenges and triumphs, revealing how we too can radiate greatness.

Sponsored by JPMorgan Chase & Co, Radiating Greatness tells the stories of our first five amazing women through the eyes of the award-winning artist and leader of the Black British Art Movement in the 1980S, Franklyn Rodgers.

The BCA proudly presents the stories of

Baroness Valarie Amos, Director of SOAS University of London, British Politician and Diplomat Karen Blackett OBE, WPP UK Country Manager & MediaCom Chairwoman UK & Ireland Dame Vivian Hunt, Managing Partner for Mckinsey & Company in the UK and Ireland Dr. Sandie Okoro, British Lawyer appointed in 2017 as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the World Bank Group and, Miss Samantha Tross, British Consultant Surgeon and the first Black female Orthopaedic Surgeon in Britain.
