Black Cultural Archives funding
While BCA, like many other charity organisations serving the needs of our community, faces serious financial challenges after the end of its Heritage Lottery funding, we are not closing.
We are asking that BCA, as the only national institution for Black history and culture in Britain, is made a National Portfolio Organisation along side the mainstream and other cultural organisations supported by the national funding bodies.
As Black History Month comes to an end and during a year when the contributions to Britain of the Windrush generation have been celebrated as well as unjustly dismissed, we believe this is the time for everyone to #BackBCA.
We are grateful for the support of cross-party MPs, BCA Friends, Patrons, Sponsors and especially from the community. Your moral and financial support will help us meet these challenges.
Thank you for backing BCA!
